Fall 2020 Runway Jewelry Trends

2020 Jewelry & Fashion Trends

Fashion month has wrapped for another year. International runway trends continue to inspire both street style and high fashion. Jewelry, while a small item on the runway, isn't forgotten. Here are some of the jewelry trends from this year’s fashion week catwalks.

Heavy Metal Punk

Punk is back in fashion in a big way, the runways were awash with crucifixes and spikes.

Crucifixes and cross necklaces were at Dolce and Gabbana. Mulger showed several spiked necklaces that stole the show. Here are some pieces that can help you work the punk trend in everyday life.

Layered Chains

Layered chains are a trend that’s been around for a few seasons and shows no sign of going out of fashion any time soon. At Monse and Lanvin models were practically dripping in layered chains. To work the trend try playing with different chain lengths in similar weights.

Heart-Shaped Jewelry

Fashion is feeling romantic in 2020. Heart-shaped accessories were one of the most popular trends from Fashion Month. The look was wowed at Alexander McQueen,  Dolce, and Gabbana and several other designers. Heart Hoop Earrings and Heart Lockets were the stand-out pieces on the catwalks. But hearts were also seen on rings, bracelets, hair accessories and more. Try these jewelry pieces to recreate the look.

Charm Jewelry

Charms have also been a popular jewelry choice, but this season they’re bigger than ever.

Oversized charms made a statement on the runways of Bottega, Zimmerman and more. If chunky charms aren’t your style try a more understated version of the trend with these charm styles.
