How To Wear Cufflinks
Cufflinks are a men’s jewelry item used to secure the cuffs of dress shirts. Have you recently bought or received a cufflink and stud set but are unsure how to wear cufflinks with your outfit?
When To Wear Cufflinks
From black-tie events to a classic collared work shirt, there are many opportunities to wear a stylish set of cufflinks. Formal occasions always call for cufflinks. This small accessory can quickly take a simple suit up a notch in the style stakes. Dress shirts, such as tuxedo shirts and French cuff shirts, should always fasten with a set of cufflinks and studs.
What is the proper way to wear cufflinks?
When wearing a formal suit choose a cufflink set that compliments. You should wear cufflinks with a dress shirt and jacket. Cufflinks are designed only for use with shirts that have cuffs with buttonholes on both sides but no buttons. Your cuffs should extend slightly beyond the length of the jacket sleeve when folded. The cufflinks should be visible with your formal attire. The cufflink goes through the two holes in each sleeve cuff to fasten them in place.
Traditionally you would coordinate the metal of your cufflinks with other jewelry and accessories. This could be a watch case, belt buckle, tie bar or men’s rings. Nowadays, there are no rules, you can mix and match your metals. You can even mix and match cufflink styles. Your cufflinks are an accessory, so they should be on show, and not hidden under your jacket.

Wax Seal Cufflinks
The long history of the wax seal inspired the Phoenix Roze wax seal cufflink collection.
Wax seals have long been integral to the signing of official documents. Traditionally wax seals would bear each owner's unique design, such as a coat of arms or an emblem. Documents were stamped with a seal as a simple way of identifying the sender.
Phoenix Rozes’s wax seal cufflinks take inspiration from mythical beasts to create unique designs.
